I love to cook. I also love to eat, but that’s a different post altogether. One of my pet peeves in cooking was always chopping onions, so I figured out a quicker way to do it. My father, by the way, was an Industrial Engineer, specializing in Time & Motion Study – in other words, and efficiency expert. I must have inherited something from him, because I’m pretty good at finding short-cuts for things I don’t like doing. It could also be laziness, but I’m giving myself the benefit of the doubt. So I put together this video showing an easier way to chop an onion.
I’d like to thank the Academy for all of their support, as well as my production team (my 15 year-old-daughter, Carrie) And a special thanks to my husband, Gene, for not insisting on extra onions with our steaks tonight at dinner.
